Dry, sensitive skincare

How to take care your skin during winter?

Monique writes, "Based on the chart for skin type on your website, IPhoto of Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer have dry (extremely) and sensitive skin (Related:  Foundation for sensitive skin and Masks for sensitive skin).  Can you recommend body and face care lines that are good? I can't afford $200 an ounce face creams but I can afford good quality items."
  • For someone with your skin type, what doctors recommend (at a low price) is a Cetaphil cleanser and Cetaphil moisturizer.
  • Always use sun protection, such as Neutrogena Dry Ultra Sheer or Anthelios. The higher the SPF the heavier it becomes.  (Related:  Masks for dry skin)
  • Use Dove soap (Related:  Soaps for dry skin), without fragrance for your body and a body lotion without fragrance (you can find one in Sephora or even Bath & Body store).
  • If you do not have any other medical condition on your skin, you may take caps of fish oil (such as cod) or flax seed oil. If you have a medical condition, please consult with your doctor.  (Related:  Winter skincare)
  • And do not forget to drink a lot of water (even if you don't feel thirsty) and use a humidifier in your bedroom in winter (Related:  How to care for dry skin during winter), and if possible in your work area.
