Katharine McPhee, the 2006 American Idol runner-up, has confessed to an eating disorder. Her fans like me noticed how she started to look prettier (and slimmer) as the show progressed - now, we know the reason. I assumed that it was stress that was resulting in weight loss.

While she was suffering from bulimia and couldn't stop cravings, we now know that when she was dropping her dress sizes, it was because she was recovering from her illness.
