Ingredients 4 cups of milk 1 cup of rice (not pre-cooked) 1 cinnamon sticks 1 lemon The zest of the lemon 1 pinch salt 1 cups half-and-half 1 cup of sugar Cinnamon, for sprinkling Optional raisins to decorate Process Mix milk, rice, cinnamon sticks, lemon zest and salt. Put in a pan and bring to a boil. Once it boils, turn down the heat and simmer until the rice is cooked (in about 20 minutes). Once the rice is cooked (do not worry if it over-cooks) add the half-and-half. Add the sugar now. You may add more sugar to taste. Turn off the stove and remove the pan. Discard the cinnamon sticks.
