Make changes in your lifestyle to never have indigestion

If we can put it in the most polite manner, it doesn't feel too good when you are not clean inside regularly. Doctors recommend that daily motion is key to good health. While it is best to
do it each day the first thing in the morning, not many people are able to do that. In other words, you may be suffering from constipation.
While solutions like
detox treatments are recommended for a more thorough cleaning of your system, you have to make necessary
lifestyle changes in order to relieve yourself daily. With the
low carb/high protein diet trend, the problem is getting only worse. In most cases of infrequent and mild constipation, however, you can improve the situation very easily yourself, though medical attention may be needed for severe constipation. Below are some simple tips to alleviate constipation:
|
|
|
Drink plenty of water and/or fruit juices. Liquids help alleviate constipation. How much water should you drink? There is no hard and fast rule since a lot depends on your body weight, surrounding temperature, and lifestyle, but as a rule of thumb, about
six glasses or more a day is the general guideline. Or keep drinking till you can't drink no more.
That is exactly what Gillian Taylforth does. The
beautiful actress calls it her daily detox (DIY
detox).
Take your fibers. Do not believe those ridiculous advertisements that you can easily eat all the fiber you need by popping a pill. The best way to get your fibers is to eat them naturally. Most vegetables are rich in fiber and the same applies for fruits. The FDA guideline of five portions a day will help you reduce constipation. Bananas, apples, oranges, leafy veggies and some beans also have a lot of fiber.

Choose whole grains. As we have pointed in a separate article on
whole
grains, you will be consuming insoluble fibers that help eliminate constipation.
Try prunes. This food item is very rich in many nutrients and has a lot of fiber as well. Many naturopaths believe that prune juice may become addictive, so try to balance you consumption of prunes and prefer prunes to juice.
Reduce your consumption of antacids. In other words, redesign your diet so that you don't suffer from
heartburn or acidity in the first place. Many antacid pills may cause constipation in some people. |

Herbs and natural supplements. Again, let us emphasize the fact that the best way to keep your system clean is to
have good eating habits. Of course, there are some natural herbs that help but they also tend to cause dependency. What that means is that once you stop taking the herb or the supplement, constipation returns. The herbs that we like are ginger and
dandelion
root.
Regular physical exercise. Indeed it is true that
working out does so many good things for the
body. And one of them is that it keeps the digestive system working well.
