In
response to publication of our research on thongs, we have received dozens of thong-related questions. Here is a sample of what we have heard from our fans:
- When do women start wearing them?
- Why do women wear them?
- Why do some women always wear thongs?
- I love thongs but they are not allowed in my home/school? Are there any reasons to not allow thongs?
- My mother wears a thong but does not let me. What do I do?
- Are Latinas
or Asians
are more likely to wear thongs?
- What are the smallest thongs? Are they designed in
Brazil?
- And on and on...
Our research has shown that there is no specific age at which people wear thongs. In fact not too long ago there was an outcry when
Abercrombie & Fitch started to sell a thong for 10-year
olds. So it is obvious that thongs are now found in the
lingerie
chest pretty early on. The reasons why thongs are catching on among women (and men, but that is a different topic) are many. They help against
visible panty lines and when you want to wear
low-rise
jeans. Over the years, they have also become more comfortable, prettier, and sexier. So much so that some women have stopped wearing any other underwear altogether. For them, it is always a thong.

But it is still not easy for anyone to wear a thong. Some schools restrict
thong underwear
while some parents do not permit
use of thongs. There is no simple solution to this except to wait till you grow up and be able to wear whatever you like.
