MYNIPPON: Are
you feeling some persecution due to your high profile on the Internet?
Loletta: Well,
I maintain a high profile on the Net but a low profile in real life.
Singapore is such a small country that anyone can check me out.
Sometimes someone will recognize me and shout at me and I will
simply smile. In some cases
I have handed out my photographs. I
do not put any makeup when I go out and do not dress provocatively at all. It takes a lot of guts to do what you wanna do in Singapore.
I can tell you that many of my girlfriends and women I know have
their own fantasies but they dare not do anything about them.
They are afraid of being recognized in a small, conservative
country. The men here add to the problem. As I mentioned earlier, a girl who dresses provocatively is
viewed as easy.
MYNIPPON: What
do you think of Singaporean women?
Loletta: I
can say that the girls in Singapore are pretty.
80% of the girls here I dare say are babes. They have the height - on the average 1.6 m, slim, and
fashionable but only in the way what’s hot in Singapore than what’s
hot in Japan. Fashion here is boring for me because of the mass
production of some particular fashionable pieces.
They are all alike and everyone just tries to look like everyone
else – there is no originality. Girls here go for the easy way out.
To them it's "as long as I look good and not out, why
not?" Hence, you'll
see many ladies around town wearing black. (Related article:

MYNIPPON: How
do you compare yourself to other Singaporean women?
Are you an exception?
Loletta: I
dare say I am an exception – thinking wise.
I don’t allow myself to conform to society - jump on the
bandwagon syndrome. I speak
my mind, though there’s hardly a thing as speaking your mind in
Singapore. Even my
boyfriend is not like me. He
is open in some ways but he's also a little conservative in other ways.
Since I got to know him, no more bold pictures for me but I can
still take suggestive, naughty
pictures.
