Why dating Japanese men is considered cool by non-Japanese women

We actually receive dozens of emails from non-Japanese women who want to find a Japanese boyfriend and their number one complaint is that so few Japanese men speak English. If there were more Japanese men capable of speaking English and posting their message on English language-based dating and personals websites, they will have so many girls to choose from. In our existence, we have seen the number of girls interested in Japanese boys exploding, especially among teenagers, and also after Masi Oka starred in Heroes. As JPOP becomes more popular in the west, many teenagers want to 'check out' Japanese guys. As I said before, most of the improvement in the image has happened because of the image presented by pop culture coming out of Japan. If you recall the image in the past of a Japanese man was the manager of an overseas office who worked hard every day and wanted to return to Japan as soon as possible - he was always dressed in a blue suit and was boring and unexciting. Not any more; as information about young Japanese men becomes more easily available, girls are going crazy about their looks.  (Related:  (Related:  African American women and Japanese men) The number of western women who have fallen in love with Japanese guys is exploding and in our opinion it is driven primarily by the image created by JPOP stars. The so-called 'salaryman' image is not what they want - they are seeking the cute, fun, cool Japanese men. In fact many women have told us that once they have dated a Japanese man (whom they find to be polite, gentle, and easy to deal with), they no longer want to date western men. One concern that we often hear is that the Japanese men are too shy and women just do not know what to do when they want to go one step ahead. So for example they are afraid that if they initiate the kiss or something more intimate, the Japanese man would be scared but then in most cases the Japanese man is too shy to make the first move.  (Related:  Japanese guys black girls) The other thing that attracts Japanese men to western women is their style. Women find that they dress trendier and take better care of themselves. As western men, especially in America, increasingly become casual, women find that well-dressed Japanese men are far more desirable. Our research also shows that a lot of myths about Japanese men (e.g. they are not good in bed, they do not have large organs, or they are weird in their habits, they are commitment phobic, etc.) prevail among many women but once they date them, they find that they are actually myths. In reality Japanese men are as good as anyone else.
