| I
must have been wearing the wrong kind of bra for God knows how
long until I went to college. My mother did not teach me
some of these things so I often either did not wear a bra or
just wore whatever I could lay my hands on in the lingerie
drawer. I realize later on that as I was growing very
fast during that time, my bras would often not fit me right
but by adjusting it in all kinds of ways I would somehow try
to fit into my small
cups. Mostly though I went braless.
Only now I realize how
ridiculous I might have looked but it was OK since I wore
those ugly fleece jackets all the time anyway. (Related

for wearing a bra) When I showed
up in college and happened to room with a very stylish girl,
she made me realize what all I was doing wrong and so we went
bra shopping. I went in the the lingerie department and asked for the
lady's help since I had not clue where to start. She was really nice and about my
mom's age. I told her my boss at the local pizza joint,
where I worked, told me I have
to start wearing bras. I needed help picking one out,
I said, preferably one that doesn't change the look of not wearing one.
She asked for my bra size and I said I have no idea since I have never
been fitted. She told me to come with her and I followed her to the
fitting room and she begun to measure me over my clothes (Find
your bra size) and I asked
her
if that will give as accurate measurement as if she measured against my skin.
She said, "No, but I didn't want to ask you to remove your
top unless
you are comfortable with it." I said that I didn't mind
and so I removed my top and turned to face her. She said,
"Very nice; doesn't look as if you need a bra but I understand why you need to wear one."
She then begun to measure my rib. She seemed to be very comfortable with touching my
skin or at least measuring my size. I was kind of getting
excited somewhat and I think she knew it. She then told me to wait there.

Well, then she grabbed some
bras for me to try. She helped me put them on and adjust the straps.
I then asked her how I would know if it's a good fit and she showed me if you cup yourself
like this and lift it just a bit and check for how much space
is left between the underwire and the skin, you've got a good fit.
Well I ended up buying like 5 bras just to not disappoint her.
Jokes aside, I now realize how nice I look with a better
fitting bra.
