Spa
treatment at home
Tropical
theme, Caribbean salts skin glow
By Lisa Kramer
| Believe
it or not, many spa treatments can be done at home at a
fraction of the cost of going to a spa or a
medi spa. This is not to
say that they are as good as going to a spa or you can
expect same experience, but when you can not go to a spa for
whatever reason. |

What will you need?
½ cup of salt, preferably sea salt
3 tbs of vegetable oil. You can use any light oil though we recommend almond or apricot oil.
Optional: 15 drops pf essential oil. Use your favorite aroma. We recommend a citric flavor to add some tropical feeling: limes, lemons, orange, grapefruit or
mandarins. You may also add a few drops of coconut oil for extra moisture and tropical feel.
Procedure
Apply to wet skin.
You can use your hands, a glove, or a loofah to scrub all over your body.
Avoid any cuts or delicate areas. Remember do not put salt on a cut.
Do not exfoliate if your skin is irritated for any reason, including sun burn.
Be careful not to fall down due to slippery floors.
Eliminate the residues with water. Apply your favorite body oil or lotion if needed. Your skin will feel a little oily if you use thick oil; otherwise, it will feel soft and most people will not need additional moisturizer.
