Sleep more lose weight
Sounds too good to be true? It actually is somewhat counter-intuitive. Dr. Steven Heymsfield of Columbia University and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York and James Gangwisch, a Columbia epidemiologist have found in their research that when we don't sleep well, all our bodily functions get totally upset. People who are constantly sleep-deprived tend not to eat healthy either because they do not have the time or are just out of energy to sit down and eat a good meal. No wonder they end up eating junk and become obese.
Eight hours of sleep is ideal for the body but even six will be a great help. For more help on tips for sleeping better please read our guide on sleep and better health and another article that we did emphasizing how important it is that a couple sleep well together to have a normal relationship.
