How to reduce stress in a relationship?

Don't second guess your partner all the time

Women often make their life difficult simply by taking their partner too seriously.  Let me explain.  For instance, you have the first date and all the way from trying to figure out how to dress to how you actually look to getting everything right during the date, some women simply get so nervous that a date for them ends up causing a lot more stress than they need.  In fact they would have been better-off (health wise) if they never went out on a date.  And the reason it is all so not important because we assume all kinds of thinks about men.

What are some common myths about men?
  • Men only like pretty/beautiful/cute women.  Not true.  Actually, if that were true, God knows almost all the women except Elle Macpherson will be single.
  • Men are very observant.  Actually, men don't see the minor details at all.  While they will notice some of the big things but if you spent $50 to get your hair done, unless he is a metrosexual, he is unlikely to even know the difference.
  • If he doesn't like you, he will be gone.  Contrary to popular perception, men are not as polyamorous as we like to think.  Like most women, men too like the idea of a simple life with someone they love.  Just count how many supermodels are single or keep divorcing.  Imagine Selma Blair getting a divorce!

How to have a stress-free relationship?

  • Relax.  A relationship is meant to give you joy; not to stress you out.

  • Have trust in yourself.  If you don't look like Jennifer Lopez or  Keira Knightley, it doesn't mean you are not attractive.  Even Sandara Bullock thinks she is ugly.

  • When in doubt, just ask.  Not all men are alike and you will be surprised how your man be totally different from the image that you have of men.
