Trip to Montreal
Spend more time in the old part of the town

If you visit Montreal, we recommend that you spend more of your time in Old Montreal. The new areas are like any other large city, but Old Montreal is where you feel that you are in a different location. So we picked a few interesting pictures from our trip to give you a flavor of that part of the city.

Noël Éternel is a unique boutique in Old Montreal. Believe it or not, it's
Christmas there every day of the year. So even if you are there months before Christmas, you will enjoy walking the store and checking out their
collections
for decorations.

|
Now
this is not some run-down building. It is actually a high-end
day spa that goes by the name Bodhi Spa Urbain. If
you have not had some personal
care for a while a visit to this spa
is recommended. 
|
|
|
You
will see many sidewalk cafes in Montreal and they serve some
excellent food. They are perfect for any meal during
the day. We found that the food was mostly French but
if you want to have just a drink, many of them serve a broad
range of cocktails.

|
Take a look at how
people live in Montreal. This beautiful
row of
apartments caught our attention. Maybe some day we will
go there for the summer to learn
French and rent
an apartment in one of these buildings.
