Do flight attendants need to control their weights?

Apparently not any more unless they become so overweight that they cannot do their primary function: safety in case of an emergency.  Airlines that have tried to enforce weight requirements have met with resistance from employees.  Things were different at one time.  Not only did the stewardesses cared how they look, how they treated customers, but also how much they weighed.
