Support builds up for stem cell research

In a totally unexpected development, Senator Bill Frist has announced his support for stem cell research in the US through federal funding. It is pretty clear right now that America is lagging in stem cell research and many venture capitalists and scientists are hoping that biotech may be able to save the American economy as we lose our competitiveness in IT and manufacturing.
