Eminem addicted to sleep medication; how to get rid of it

Eminem announced today in a statement by Interscope Records that he will be canceling his European tour dates, which run from September 1 through 17. Eminem is currently being treated for exhaustion, complicated by other medical issues (read addiction to sleep medication). The shows are not expected to be rescheduled.
