The First Kiss

We all look forward to our first kiss. It is a special moment for us because we really want to know what it would be like. Now when Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson kissed for the first time in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, it is somewhat special considering that the two have been acting since they were children and now that they have grown up together and the role demands it, they also have to kiss. But remember that this is still "acting," but interesting nevertheless to talk about it. Watch the video below to see the kiss and listen to thoughts of Daniel that it was not a French kiss, just part of acting, though luckily for them, it meant several takes for them since both of them were so nervous. Hey, actors have to do far more crazy stuff while "acting.

Gucci fifties Italty inspired fashion

The Milan Fashion Week has been a great show so far with designs from Prada, Armani, Valentino and Moschino. We now have the video of fashion designs from Gucci. And to everyone's surprise, Frida Giannini has come up with a collection that is inspired by Italy during the 1950s. Hey, I thought only the women
were interested in vintage
, but it looks like men's fashion too is embracing vintage. Watch the video below.

I Know Who Killed Me movie review

While the movie "I Know Who Killed Me" has attracted a lot of attention for two reasons (first, it stars Lindsay Lohan, and two, she performs a pole dance), it should not be forgotten that it is a much more complex story with some very fine acting by her as well as other cast members that include Neal McDonough and Jessica Rose. The plot is so appropriate for today when you see women being kidnapped by all kinds of looneys. In the film, Aubrey Fleming (played excellently by Lohan) is a high-school student but then she disappears without a trace and then reappears but claims that she is not who everyone thinks she is. She is someone else, an exotic dancer by the name of Dakota Moss. Everyone around her tries to solve the mystery. Strongly recommended movie.

Valentino and Moschino designs from Milan fashion show

If you watched my pick of the Prada and Armani fashion video, let me add another video from the Milan fashion show. This time it includes Valentino and Moschino.

Of course you will watch Valentino himself talking about his designs for men and Bill Shapiro discusses his designs for the Moschino brand. One theme that I am clearly noticing in men's fashion is the bold attitude and creative use of colors.

Milano fashion week Prada and Armany styles

Last year when I reported on the Milano Fashion Week and the New York City Fashion Week, it seems like it was a different era. In just one year, men's fashion has changed so much. This year at the Milan fashion week, Prada and Armani exhibited their latest styles, and I must say I am impressed. My first reaction is that the outfits are far more casual and colorful, though the shades are clearly darker. Watch the video clip (without commentary) with the runway shots.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Those of us who are the so-called Harry Potter addicts follow each and everything that happens in the world of witches and wizards. So it is just so exciting to wait for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," a movie that will tie the story together from the previous set. What you will also notice in this movie is that the actors are no longer kids that they were in previous movies ("Time flies; isn't it?) and are quite grownup indeed. As you will see in the clip below, they actually get to kiss (which both Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson enjoyed, according to them) and act more like adults. Of course, despite the rumors about the leaking of the plot, looks as if not much is known about the contents of the last book in the series. Here is a video of the actors talking about the movie, their kissing experience, and of course, several clips from the film itself.

Michael Clayton movie

I have mixed feelings about attorneys. When they sue you and you have to confess to all the bad things that you did and pay hard cash, it hurts and you hate the lawyers. That is why corporations hate them. On the other hand when you are the victim and injustice has been done to you, only a lawyer can fight for you and try to secure justice for you. Are attorneys good or bad? Despite all the jokes and perceptions, there is no good answer. It all depends on the situation.

You get to see these questions handled in this excellent movie "Michael Clayton" starring George Clooney, who as always, does an excellent job portraying Clayton as a lawyer who cleans up all the mess that wealthy people get into (a good example, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Lindsay Lohan drinking, driving, hitting people/cars). Watch the trailer.

Kissing is fun, especially with so many people around

I don't if anyone can argue that kissing a loved one is not good. If I could, I will kiss my lover 24X7, provide my lips would survive. In any case, making out in public is quite a different story and when you are doing it for a good cause, well, maybe that is not exactly right, but kissing to set a world record is definitely something good considering that so many people are simply too busy killing each other. Watch the video clip below to see how 30,000 couples in England locked lips (How to kiss?) to set a world record. And hey, if you are sitting next to someone, ask if you can kiss.

How to plump your lips with makeup?

There is no doubt that we Americans love the luscious lips of Angelina Jolie, though I was talking to some Japanese women the other day and they said that they would not like to have those lips and neither would Japanese men admire them.

In any case, it is great to have plump lips and you can do that with Restylane injections or collagen or lip implants or undergo a lip augmentation procedure or lip enhancement or simply use some makeup that will give a plumping effect for a party or a special evening. Makeup artist Tricia Sawyer has this excellent video tutorial for plumping your lips.

Are you one of those people who keep complaining that you don't have time to workout and no money to pay for a gym membership. In fact, there really are no excuses for not working out. Here are two great videos that how to do you workout almost anywhere (in a tiny apartment, in your hotel room, or even in your office cubicle) within minutes.

And here is the second one.

Jordin Sparks video interview

I do admire Jordin Sparks, the American Idol winner. the way I admire Jennifer Hudson. Watch her video clip of her interview in which she discusses a whole range of things going on in her life, including Sanjaya. She is simply an amazing artist and I don't know if she will change over time but right now she is so simple, approachable, and down-to-earth. Of course, what will make her successful is her talent, though I was somewhat disappointed that Taylor Hicks hasn't done so well commercially.

Paris Hilton goes to jail

While OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson went scot free (though I like to believe that their accusers had their day in court and they couldn't prove their case and in that sense they are innocent) and Naomi Campbell simply had to clean New York City roads for a week, Paris Hilton had no choice but to face jail time. She criticized her sentence but the reality is that drunken driving is dangerous to others and we have to stop these people from getting behind the wheel when they are drunk.

So it is nice to know that Paris Hilton is finally behind bars and is being treated like anyone else. Watch this clip to see how she realizes the gravity of her crime and is ready to serve her time moments before she reported at the county jail.
