Bartender by T-Pain

When this music video "Bartender" by T-Pain (also features Akon) began I almost thought that it was inspired by Saturday Night Fever, but how wrong I was. Actually, it is not just great music, but unlike other songs in this genre, it also has some meaningful lyrics. Of course, there are sexy women, exotic cocktails, and cool nightclubs.

Japanese obon dance

Fans of Japanese culture know that dance is an integral part. Of course, many gaijins think of Roppongi nightclubs as a window into dancing in Japan or even para-para, but obon dancing is what I am talking about here. This is a form of dance that is embedded into the Japanese culture for centuries and this dance is performed during summer to honor the dead loved ones. Here is a one brief clip of the dance.

Adrienne Music Video Magic Tricks

If you enjoyed Hypnotic Love music Video by Adrienne Lau, I am sure you will understand that I am falling in love with her. She is one of those rare Asian women she is sexy and talented at the same time. The "Magic Tricks" is one of her really good music videos that draws some of its dancing moves from Middle Eastern bellydancing.

Adrienne Lau music video Hypnotic Love

I don't even recall how I ended up listening to a track by Adrienne Lau - one of those situations in which you simply follow the links on the Internet. I listened to this track called "Hypnotic Love" a couple times and simply loved it. I occasionally listen to music by Asian performers (Gackt, Sown, Miki Ariyama, Kyoko Fukada, Asterixs, Filippino singers, etc.) but Adrienne did not even sound like an Asian. She is originally from Hong Kong but seems to sing well in both Chinese and English. She performs everywhere, including China, and has performed with Ja Rule.

In this particular music video, you will see Mike Tyson, but more importantly you will see this Asian beauty wearing sheer blouses, colorful bras, scarves, ultra low rise jeans, reminding of Japanese racequeens. Don't blame me if you experience hypnotic seduction by Adrienne.

Into The Wild movie review

The best movies are those that are either based on true stories or at least inspired by them. Why? I connect better with them. I - or someone I know - can imaging being in the same situation. I might even learn something from it. Science fiction and horror are great genres for entertainment, but when you watch a movie like "Into The Wild," you will be forced to think about your life.
  1. Are you living life to the fullest?
  2. What is the purpose of life?
  3. Are you in control of your life?
  4. Do you understand your life?
  5. How do you define success?
  6. Do you believe in yourself?
  7. What is the best strategy for life?
  8. What about your family life - can you abandon it for your own sake?
  9. Do you want to live a more spiritual life?
Those questions bother Christopher McCandless who leaves everything behind to live a life of simplicity and explore his true spirit. Watch this beautiful movie as he travels to Alaska to live a simple life with Nature on his side.

Dedication movie review

Mandy Moore is a woman of many talents and it is amazing that she actually acts pretty well in the film "Dedication." Maybe it is because an illustrator is actually a creative person and that she is in real life, apart from being seductive. Billy Crudup is a writer (oh, don't tell me that he is like me - a writer who also makes a living from writing) who must learn to work with Mandy Moore so that he can publish a book. Watch the video and the review below:

Balls Of Fury movie review

It is pretty obvious that we have a huge crime problem. Despite just about 300 million people, we have the world's largest prison population (How did this happen? Does being the world's richest country also mean more criminals?). In other words, traditional crime-fighting tools don't work.

That is why in the movie "Balls of Fury," the FBI uses ping-pong as a platform to find and kill thugs and crooks. Oh, only if that was so easy. It is one of the stupidest movies that I have seen and I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. No, these are not sophisticated jokes for the preppy, Yale-educated types; these are jokes for making the rest of us have a great time at the movies, especially with Maski Oka, Christopher Walken, and Maggie Q around.

Feast Of Love movie review

Unarguably, Shakespeare was a master because hundreds of years later we are finding out that nothing has really changed. We still struggle with the same set of emotions and interactions among people are no different except that we now send text messages and have video chats. The movie "Feast Of Love," starring Selma Blair and Morgan Freeman is loosely based on "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and shows the ups and downs of human relationships in a small town. Watch the video below.

Eastern Promises movie review

For the fans of crime and mystery movies, "Eastern Promises" is an interesting movie because it has both (along with beautiful Naomi Watts, who plays a commoner who unknowingly crosses path with the mafia). Viggo Mortensen plays the gang member, who is willing to do anything to safeguard the interest of his and that of his gang. Watch the trailer and the review of the movie in the video below:

Resident Evil Extinction movie review

If you are one of those people that will watch any movie starring (I got hooked on to her flicks after watching Violet) Milla Jovovich, then you will love the "Resident Evil: Extinction" movie. Plus for all those fans of spooky movies, there is Ali Larter. It isn't fun if you have the flesh eating organisms ready to feed on you and an evil corporation pursuing you. Watch a review here.

Hillary Clinton Invisible ad

Hillary Clinton, the Yale lawyer that she is, is articulate and very picky about her choice of words. Of course, when it comes to ads for a presidential election, it seems that they simply picked parts of her speeches because it does not appear staged. She is simply talking to an audience and has the usual pauses that anyone making a public speech does. So the question that you have to ask is Are you invisible? If so, make sure you register to vote and then go vote for your favorite candidate. That is the only democracy can work and you can count; otherwise, someone will simply take you for granted.

How does MesoMassage work?

I have done a review of MesoMassage separately. Briefly, MesoMassage is a way to take all the advantages of mesotherapy without the pain and the risks. Now mind you, mesotherapy also has risks - it is not walk in the park. This video below gives a demo of how a MesoMassage procedure is done in the doctor's office.

3:10 To Yuma movie

If you like to watch westerns, it is fun to watch remakes of past films because now you can have all the advantages of latest filmmaking technologies. And let me repeat -- I do enjoy watching retro films and love the simplicity of that time. I also like the fact that the focus was so much on the storyline and acting and less so on dazzling the audience through technology.

The "3:10 to Yuma" is one of those movies that you would like the remake. This one stars Russel Crowe and Christian Bale. Briefly, the story hasn't changed; it is still a classic western story with two men fighting out with their hands and minds. Here is a short video of the film:

Alison Hinds Roll It

Those of us who have discovered Alison Hinds (Soca Queen) are hooked on to her music and if you watch this music video "Roll It" you will find out why. The creativity and the unique music she brings is probably among the best in the world of female artists. Not that she needs more sexy women in her videos, but looks like she is not jealous, and doesn't hesitate to include even women more beautiful than her. Oh, if you like men, there are a few of them too and they are good too.

Don't take life too seriously

Many of us take our lives so seriously that we forget that there is so much more to life than work, jobs, bosses, projects, deadlines, promotions, raises, and all the other BS that comes with being just another Joe or Jane. Here is a funny (but with a strong underlying message about taking it easy in life) video about two men battling over soccer.

Fantasia music video Hood Boy

Just because someone doesn't win American Idol it does not mean that she ain't a good singer. Fantasia Barrino is a classic example of that. While it took me some time to appreciate and like the music of this R&B singer, but now I am hooked. "Hood Boy" is a very typical Fantasia song that takes you to a different time and place, but don't worry, you got Fantasia with you.

Quietdrive music video Time After Time

There are tracks that you hear so many times that they get ingrained in your brain. In fact, there comes a time that even if you are not paying attention, the music is still in your head - the song probably stopped playing hours ago. Las De La Intuicion by Shakira is one of those tracks.

"Time After Time" is one of those classic tracks that are simply playing all the time in your brain (please don't think that I am crazy). This video does not follow the standard procedure these days with sets and props but it is a recording of a live performance by Quietdrive.

Christina Aguilera music video Candyman

The secret is out: Christina Aguilera is a naughty girl and she knows how to seduce her fans. One of the greatest things that she has done to contemporary music is to bring the old-world charm and made it sexy for us. This music video "Candyman" features the outfits and dance moves of more than 50 years ago with a military theme and she looks like a pinup girl, wearing couture lingerie. Jordan Bratman is a lucky man.

Foxx Boosie, Webbie music video Wipe Me Down

This music video titled "Wipe Me Down" is one of the best that I have seen come from Foxx Boosie and Webbie. The music is great and unlike other hip hop videos that can be so disconnected from reality, this one hits the nail on the head. Plus, they know how to choose sexy women. Looks like even great music needs some bikini action.

Taylor Swift music video Teardrops On My Guitar

If Taylor Swift has gone platinum so soon, so young, there is a reason. This girl has talent and as you watch this music video you will realize that she puts her heart and soul into her work. "Teardrops On My Guitar" is one of the most romantic songs that I have heard this year even though I don't count myself as a big fan of country music. Also notice that this video was shot at a real high school in Nashville (Hume Fogg High School).

Rihanna music video Shut Up And Drive

Why is that every time I go a body shop all I see these overweight guys who growl at you while you wait in a dirty waiting area on a sofa that is falling apart? I really want to know what body shop Rihanna works at. Just kidding, but if you watch this music video titled "Shut Up And Drive," I am sure you will agree with me that we need to change our car repair business. Rather now it is just not exciting to go there.

Sean Kingston music video Beautiful Girls

I think Sean Kingston verbalizes what we all feel about "Beautiful Girls." Things that we think but can't say or are afraid to say - Sean puts it in the right perspective, especially the way he uses very retro settings. While it may not sound politically correct but the bottom line is that I like beautiful girls and I wish I could tell a girl that deserves to be told this every time I felt that. I must say, though, that I am not sure I liked the music as much but the visuals are great.

Lonelygirl 15 first season video recap

Lonleygirl15 is one online celebrity that I like. She is the "girl next door" and while she might be "acting," I have that kind of life. No my life is not like that of Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton but what happens to Bree (or Jessica Rose) happens to me all the time.

If you don't have the time and the patience to watch the whole first season, I like this video because it provides a brief recap in just 7 minutes.

How to reduce carbon emissions?

This simple video gives you ten simple tips to fight global warming and reduce the amount of carbon emissions for which you are responsible.

Pink music video U plus Ur hand

Pink always manages to do something outrageous and then also successfully gets away with it. That is what you will see in this music video "U + Ur Hand. And oh, by the way, if you get offended by women in Goth dresses or devilish signs or stories about witches, please do not listen to this music. Maybe you need to go to the church more often then rather than spending time on a music and video blog.

Shakira music video Las de la Intuicion

When women wear ties or dress in a corset dress, they look hot, but if Shakira dons those outfits, the heat is unbearable. That is what she does in this Spanish music video titled "Las de la Intuicion." Since we are so used to seeing her in those "Hips Don't Lie" outfits that a schoolgirl outfit with thigh-high stockings does come across as a bit risque. What you are bound to see, as always, is great music. I wish I only understood a bit more Espanol than "hola."

Shakira and Beyonce music video Beauitiful Liar

What happens when you bring two greatest artists on the planet to perform together even if one of them is not singing in her mother tongue? Magic happens when Shakira and Beyonce get together for the music video titled "Beautiful Liar," you get to see not just two beautiful women at their best, but also producing some great music. What I like is how Shakira, the goddess of bellydancing (you saw the moves in "Hips Don't Lie") "teaches" Beyonce some of the moves. Watch this.

Lil Mama Lip Gloss music video

Who knew that our lips could make all the difference in our lives. Whether it is Angelina Jolie's lips or those of Lisa Rinna, the reality is that the potential feeling of kissing makes us completely rethink about how we feel about a person. No wonder all the way from lip augmentation to plumping lips through makeup, women will do anything to make their lips "suckable." So can your simple lip gloss can do some magic? Yes, when Lil Mama puts it on her beautiful lips.

Avril Lavigne, Lil Mama music video girlfriend

Avril Lavigne is a very talented artist but what happens when she teams up with another talented singer Lil Mama (and then drive around in a pink convertible)? Well, a song titled "Girlfriend" is born in which these "teenagers" are all over town, breaking hearts, and making "boys" sleepless. What I love about this music video is that the two artists clearly maintain their artistic integrity but also borrow from each other.

Jennifer Lopez music video Waiting For Tonight

I think if there is one song that has defined J Lo (even more than the dress that rocked the world on that Oscar night) it is her music video "Waiting For Tonight." And since the song is from 1999 (and Jennifer Lopez was younger and hotter, though she still looks, thanks to her decision not to get pregnant), I like it even more because it has so many sweet memories attached to it. If you have never gotten in the mood for love with this track, give it a try. If something unexpected happens, don't blame me. I warned you.

Jennifer Lopez music video Me Haces Falta

Jennifer Lopez may not be the best actress on the planet (I am not sure if I liked her in "El Cantante") but undoubtedly she is beautiful, has a great body, and a personal style that makes you wonder how this "Jenny From The Block" became a trendsetter. Since I also believe that music has no language, enjoy this Spanish song of hers title "Me Haces Falta." It is a classic Latin romantic song.

Paula DeAnda music video Easy

Do you have to be hot in order to be a singer? No, but I guess it enhances the pleasure of watching the music video. That is why it is wonderful to watch this song by Paula DeAnda titled "Easy." I have this feeling that this sexy woman is by no means easy. I think it will take a lot of effort to seduce this woman. Let me guess what kind of man would win her heart. Someone like Bow Wow because he looks like her type in this song and dance filled video.
